About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Transformation Specialist to join our team at ELGI Equipments Limited in Coimbatore. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in coordinating and executing Digital transformation initiatives and Manufacturing Engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To understand new requirements from internal cross-functional teams and decide on architectures for new requirements.
  • To estimate budget projections, prepare pricing committee documents, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality world-class manufacturing facilities.
  • To direct suppliers on programming languages and structures, identify the right vendors, and validate works carried out by them.
  • To troubleshoot any down or communication issues, rewrite SCADA or .NET programs as needed, and enhance server capacity.
  • To create databases and establish connections with SQL, follow software license requirements, and update them as necessary.

Requirements:

  • A Graduate Engineering Degree in Computer Science or Mechatronics is required.
  • Certification in Project Management is desirable.
  • The ideal candidate should have over 5 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering/Digital Factory projects in the Automobile or Discrete Manufacturing industry.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering projects/coordination and implementing Digital Transformation projects is essential.

Salary Range: ₹20-30 lakhs per annum (estimated based on location and industry standards).
