Job Summary:
The role of an Audit Senior Associate is to perform audit procedures in complex areas while building technical competence and functioning as the primary point of contact for the audit client.
As a member of our team, you will have opportunities to develop advanced technical auditing skills in a variety of industries and clients. You will work with our member firms and clients onshore and be responsible for reporting to, working with, and coordinating with engagement teams.
Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining productive working relationships with audit clients and engagement teams, directing field work, and informing engagement leaders of audit engagement status in a timely manner. You will also contribute ideas and opinions to the audit teams and prepare draft financial statements under various accounting standards.
This role requires a bachelor's degree with a minimum of 1-5 years of related work experience in a similar audit practice firm. Experience working with Big 4 or Big 10 firms is an advantage. A degree in accounting or a related field is preferred, or a graduate degree with approximately 1-5 years of related work experience in fields of statutory audits.
Required skills and qualifications include technical knowledge sufficient to work on an individual level in audit engagements, including coordinating workflow and tasks with clients/engagement teams. You must possess significant knowledge of audit methodology and techniques in performing and assisting in external, internal, or statutory audits.
Other requirements include excellent project management skills, advanced written and verbal communications skills, and integrity within a professional work environment. You must be a dedicated team player and report effectively to leadership.

- Develop an understanding of AKM service offerings.
- Prepare draft financial statements under US GAAP, IFRS, UK GAAP (FRS 102).
- Ensure all work papers are complete, consistent, and contain procedures performed, evidence obtained, and conclusions reached with appropriate documentations.
- Identify key issues facing clients and discuss possible solutions to increase quality and efficiency.
- Develop a command of GAAP, GAAS, GAGAS** or UK GAAP or IFRS and any other common audit techniques.
