Cognizant is seeking a talented and experienced mobile automation specialist to lead our testing efforts for Android and iOS applications. This role requires a deep understanding of Appium, Java, and automated testing principles.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, with a focus on test automation and mobile application testing. They will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated tests using Appium and Java, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and execute automated tests using Appium and Java
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing needs
  • Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks and tools
  • Identify and report bugs, and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
  • 4-10 years of experience in testing and software development
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in Appium and Java
  • Strong command of programming languages, including Java and Python
  • Experience with continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
