Key Role in Scientific Visualisation\

We are seeking a skilled Design Specialist to play a key role in visualising complex scientific ideas and concepts for various stakeholders across the globe. Our team works with scientists, universities, hospitals, and organizations to create engaging content and visuals that cater to diverse audiences.

The successful candidate will be responsible for crafting visually appealing brochures, design moodboards, and other creative marketing materials that marry scientific expertise with design knowledge. This includes:

  • Creating and leading the design of brochures and high-impact visual documents based on client briefs.\
  • Developing moodboards and visual references to propose design direction.\
  • Providing creative inputs and collaborating on brochures, infographics, cover designs, and other visual formats as needed.\
  • Reviewing collateral created by freelance designers to ensure high-quality deliverables are sent to the clients.\
  • Ensuring on-time delivery of collateral and meeting the client brief.\
  • Coordinating and collaborating with freelance designers to ensure smooth workflow and process.\
  • Collaborating with the scientific content team to deliver high-quality graphics needed for high-quality brochures, scientific infographics, and journal cover designs etc.\
  • Collaborating with content experts to brainstorm new ideas to represent scientific concepts.\

Quality management is also a critical aspect of this role, including sharing regular feedback with designers in light of complaints or errors in deliverables, flagging errors, identifying root causes, and ensuring quality benchmarks are met.

For this position, we require applicants with 2-4 years of experience in graphic designing, illustrations, cover designs, and advanced skills in Adobe Design Suite (Illustrator InDesign, and Photoshop). Prior experience in creating designs in PowerPoint and/or experience with 3D graphics is an added advantage.
