Biostatistics Leadership Opportunity

Oversee the work of Biostatisticians, Associate Biostatisticians, and SAS programmers on clinical research studies. Provide expert consultation to projects across the organization on statistical methodology, solve complex statistical problems, and serve as the lead Biostatistician on multiple study projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct and supervise the work of junior team members on clinical research studies.
  • Provide technical review of proposed statistical design for research studies.
  • Participate in statistical process development and improvement.
  • Present at statistical conferences.
  • Lead the project team's development of study analysis plans and statistical programs.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current statistical and medical literature.
  • Develop and implement innovative biostatistical methods.
  • Ensure the scientific integrity of research projects.
  • Perform sample size calculation and statistical design.
  • Review protocols and case report forms.
  • Develop study assignment allocation schemas.
Qualifications:
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Biostatistics, Statistics, Epidemiology, or related field.
  • At least 4 years of relevant experience (Master's) or 1 year of experience (Doctoral).
  • Experience with methodological statistical research and strong programming skills in SAS and/or R.
  • Expertise in data manipulation and statistical methodology.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently.
