GIS Application Developer Position

We are seeking a skilled GIS application developer to create and implement effective geospatial solutions using ESRI technologies.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have a solid background in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and experience with ESRI software including ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Pro, and ArcGIS Server.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop GIS applications that meet customer requirements and expectations.
  • Collaborate with project teams to gather information and translate it into technical specifications for GIS solutions.
  • Maintain user accounts, permissions, and security settings to ensure proper access controls.
  • Create and manage geospatial data, including collection, processing, and analysis, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Optimize GIS workflows and processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of prior relevant experience or more years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
  • Proficiency in ESRI ArcGIS software, including ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Online, and ArcGIS Server.
  • Experience with GIS programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, or SQL for automation and application development.
  • Understanding of geospatial data formats, data management, and analysis techniques.
  • Familiarity with web mapping and cartographic principles.
