Job Title: Supply Chain Manager

Description:

  • Overview of the Role:
    • The Supply Chain Manager is a critical position responsible for managing end-to-end supply chain functions for the factory. This includes production planning and control, plant sourcing, warehousing, logistics, scrap management, and data analysis.

This role involves overseeing planning, procurement, production scheduling, inventory, and logistics to ensure efficient, cost-effective manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities:

  1. Production Planning & Scheduling: Align material availability with production plans to minimize downtime.
  2. Procurement & Supplier Coordination: Ensure timely procurement of raw materials, packaging materials, and consumables.
  3. Inventory Management: Maintain optimal inventory levels of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
  4. Warehousing & Logistics: Oversee inbound and outbound logistics to ensure on-time deliveries.
  5. Cost & Process Optimization: Identify initiatives to reduce costs and drive process improvements.
  6. Compliance & Safety: Ensure compliance with company policies, EHS norms, and statutory regulations.
  7. Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Graduate in Engineering / Science / Commerce (MBA or PG in Supply Chain preferred)
  • 12-20 years of relevant experience in supply chain or operations management
  • Strong understanding of production planning, MRP, logistics, and warehousing practices
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office tools
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
