Global Scientific Advisor Job Description

The role of a Global Scientific Advisor is to create and deliver timely, accurate, and credible medical communication materials across various areas of medical affairs to internal and external stakeholders.

This position requires effective collaboration and consistent communication between the medical affairs team, project managers, and medical illustrators to achieve shared goals.

Support for clinical activities driven by global medical affairs is also a key aspect of this job.

Another critical responsibility is to engage in scientific dialogue and build relationships with global Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).

Additionally, this role involves supporting medical affairs teams in executing global medical education and communication plans to ensure KOL/HCP recognition and understanding of the compound's clinical profile through presentations, meetings, symposia, and personal visits.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver timely, accurate, and credible medical communication materials
  2. Collaborate effectively with the medical affairs team and other stakeholders
  3. Support clinical activities driven by global medical affairs
  4. Engage in scientific dialogue with global KOLs
  5. Support medical affairs teams in executing global medical education and communication plans

Qualifications:

  • PhD in Life sciences with substantial clinical and/or research expertise relevant area
  • At least two years of clinical and/or pharmaceutical industry experience
  • Strong MS PowerPoint presentation skills
  • Fluency in both spoken and written English
  • Demonstrated research experience (e.g. publications)
