Job Title: Avionics System Tester

Job Description:

This role involves ensuring that systems meet the defined requirements by analysing control sub-systems for testability, allocating requirements against test vehicles and developing tests to prove that requirements are satisfied.

  • Analyse control sub-system requirements for testability
  • Allocate requirements against test vehicles defined in the verification test plan
  • Develop and review tests that will provide evidence to prove that the sub-system requirements are satisfied
  • Execute testing in remote test rigs
  • Analyse verification test results against requirements and determine results against Test Plan definitions
  • Conduct targeted interactive testing to support Problem Investigation and demonstration of problem resolution
  • Capture observations and work with Control System Designers to record identified issues in configured problem reports
  • Produce reports where required to document the work carried out
Required Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of system/software requirements, requirements analysis, hardware architecture, databus communications, system interfaces, system architecture and embedded software testing at system integration level. They should be able to interpret test results and provide an informed opinion or conclusion as to the outcome of the analysis.
