Job Title: MuleSoft Testing Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned MuleSoft API Testing Specialist to ensure the highest quality and reliability of our APIs. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with a strong background in software testing, particularly in API testing, to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement comprehensive test strategies for MuleSoft APIs, collaborating closely with developers, architects, and business analysts.
  • Develop and execute functional, regression, integration, and performance tests for MuleSoft APIs, ensuring they meet business and technical requirements.
  • Validate RESTful and SOAP-based APIs, checking response formats, headers, status codes, and business logic.
  • Automate API testing using tools like ReadyAPI, Postman, SoapUI, or JMeter, and integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Identify, track, and retest defects, utilizing defect management tools like JIRA.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed test documentation, including test cases, scripts, and summary reports.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of high-quality APIs.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 3+ years dedicated to API testing.
  • Proven expertise in REST and SOAP APIs, as well as hands-on experience with API testing tools.
  • Strong understanding of HTTP, JSON, XML, OAuth2, JWT, and API security standards.
  • Proficiency in SQL queries for data validation.
  • Certifications in software testing or related fields are a plus.
