Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Embedded Software Developer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on complex software functions within Honeywell Aerospace Electronic Solutions, specifically in CNS (Communication, Navigation, & Surveillance).

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and integrate robust, well-documented embedded software at both high and low levels that interacts directly with hardware.
  • Demonstrate thought leadership in embedded software architecture, design, and development in line with FCI development.
  • Mentor junior members in the team and be seen as a problem solver.
  • Collaborate and network with stakeholders for new technologies/ideas incubation and information sharing.
Requirements
  1. B.Tech/M.Tech/MCA in Computer Science or Electronics Engineering with 10+ years of experience.
  2. In-depth technical knowledge of C, C++, and exposure to firmware language programming.
  3. Embedded software development knowledge.
  4. Understanding of the software development lifecycle (DO-178C preferred).
  5. Strong analytical and debugging skills on real target hardware (hands-on experience is an advantage).
Desirable Skills
  • Exposure to Key Concepts:
  • Exposure to Datalink/EGPWF concepts.
  • Demonstrated ability in software development for avionic systems and knowledge of DO-178B/C process.
  • Exposure to Multithreading/Multicore processing.
Tools and Platforms
  • Familiarity with configuration management tools such as CC/CQ, JIRA, Bitbucket, and GIT.
  • Exposure to requirement management tools such as DOORS.
