Job Description
The Facilities Operations Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of a property, ensuring that all administrative functions, security issues, and facility services are covered. This includes prioritizing facilities needs, working with the facilities manager and assistant facilities manager, and striving for continuous improvement in processes. The ideal candidate will also manage supply and service contracts as approved by clients, help mitigate risks through emergency evacuation procedures and crisis management, monitor health and safety issues, and participate in reviewing them. Additionally, the Facilities Operations Manager will be responsible for monitoring the property's budget, making sure there is enough petty cash to support operations, and ensuring vendor invoice processes comply with standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of property operations, a degree in business or hotel and building management, and at least three to five years of experience in facilities management. They must also demonstrate good working knowledge in occupational safety and aptitude in client-centric operations. A solid background in team management, effective communication skills, and reporting skills are also essential for this position.
