SAP Security Specialist Needed

Job Description:

This is an opportunity for a skilled SAP security expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of SAP security design principles and role architecture.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, configuring, and maintaining SAP security roles, profiles, and authorizations across various systems. This includes managing user provisioning, access requests, and license assignments using SAP Identity Management (IDM). Additionally, the specialist will apply position-based access control models where appropriate, maintain Firefighter (FF) access via SAP GRC 12, and ensure compliance with internal policies and segregation of duties (SoD) requirements.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Design and configure SAP security roles, profiles, and authorizations
  • Manage user provisioning, access requests, and license assignments
  • Apply position-based access control models
  • Maintain Firefighter (FF) access via SAP GRC 12
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and SoD requirements

Technologies involved include SAP ECC, BW, Solution Manager, S/4HANA, Fiori, SAP Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC), SAP Identity Management (IDM), Soterion security management tool, and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Key skills and competencies required for this position include:

  • Strong understanding of SAP security design principles
  • Expertise in SoD risk identification and remediation
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects in large-scale SAP environments
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
  • Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and documentation skills

Qualifications include tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or related field, minimum 8 years' experience in SAP Security, including role design, GRC, and IDM, and SAP security certifications.
