Electronic Data Interchange Specialist Role

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to oversee the administration of electronic data interchange (EDI) processes across our enterprise systems.

This role will focus on ensuring seamless data flow between trading partners, vendors, and internal business applications while maintaining compliance and high standards of data integrity.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer, monitor, and troubleshoot EDI transactions and integrations with business applications (ERP, supply chain, finance, etc.).
  • Manage onboarding of new trading partners and maintain EDI maps, specifications, and communication protocols.
  • Collaborate with business teams to analyze and resolve EDI-related issues in a timely manner.
  • Ensure compliance with EDI standards and company policies, including data security and regulatory requirements.
  • Work closely with vendors, IT teams, and external partners to support integration projects.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, including process flows, technical specs, and partner guidelines.
  • Provide support for audits, testing, and validation of new or modified EDI processes.

Requirements:

  • Experience in supply chain, logistics, or manufacturing environments.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based EDI platforms or integration tools.
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes and service management best practices.

  • Able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of EDI standards and regulations.

About the Position:

The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting and enhancing EDI processes, ensuring seamless data flow between trading partners, vendors, and internal business applications.
