Job Title: UI/UX Designer

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled UI/UX Designer to contribute to the development of intuitive and visually appealing digital products at AppUnik. As a UI/UX Designer, you will play a crucial role in designing user-friendly interfaces that align with the company's brand guidelines and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces that align with the company's brand guidelines and objectives.
  • Work closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to transform user requirements into effective design solutions.
  • Collaborate with the UX team to conduct user research and create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.
  • Ensure smooth integration with front-end and back-end teams for cohesive user experiences.
  • Conduct regular usability tests, gather user feedback, and iterate designs to improve functionality and aesthetics.
  • Maintain consistency in the design language across products to align with brand standards.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and UI/UX best practices to enhance user engagement and experience.


Requirements:

  • Create responsive designs for mobile, tablet, and desktop to ensure accessibility across all devices.
  • Apply design principles, color theory, typography, and spacing to produce visually balanced layouts.
  • Work with design tools (e.g., Adobe XD, Figma, Sketch) to produce high-quality designs and prototypes.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS is preferred to facilitate a smooth hand-off to developers.
  • Collaborate on the creation of style guides, user flows, and functional design specifications.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, effectively managing multiple design projects.
  • Identify and troubleshoot UX issues and suggest improvements to enhance user experience.


Qualifications:

  • 6 months of experience in UI/UX design, either as an intern or entry-level designer.
  • Familiarity with wireframing, prototyping, and design tools like Adobe XD, Figma, or Sketch.
  • Basic understanding of HTML/CSS and responsive design principles.
  • Knowledge of current UI/UX trends and best practices.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
