Lead Land Acquisition and Redevelopment Expert

We are seeking an experienced investment strategist to spearhead land aggregation and society redevelopment efforts.

This role requires a proven track record in the Bengaluru market, a deep understanding of investment strategy, and the ability to work closely with senior leadership.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Originate deals and create business plans, focusing on land acquisition and society redevelopment.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of Bengaluru real estate market norms and some knowledge of Mumbai redevelopment would be given due weightage.
  • Underwrite and analyze return profiles based on proposed business plans, performing relative valuation and financial modeling as needed.
  • Collaborate closely with senior leadership on both the buy and sell sides for target screening and idea generation.
  • Guide and execute multiple client deliverables, including Investor Committee Presentations and Deal Models.
  • Liaise with central/state government authorities for land acquisition and manage projects and teams effectively.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven track record in land acquisition and land investment.
  • Experience in society redevelopment engagement.
  • Knowledge of acquiring land parcels through outright purchase and tender processes.
  • Ability to prepare a Preliminary Land Report (PLR).
  • Expertise in financial modeling and valuation.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills for liaising with government authorities and senior leadership.
  • MBA/CA/CFA holder preferred; exceptions may be considered.
