The Senior Associate role is a key position at our organization, responsible for managing all aspects of search execution. This includes client relationship management, research, and knowledge management. To be successful in this role, you will require strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, and a proactive approach to deliver results.

Senior Associates work closely with consultants to prepare client presentations, develop research strategies, and identify target companies and universes. They also take ownership of research reports, ensure accuracy, and provide biographical information on shortlisted candidates. In addition, they help carry out due diligence on candidates, promote the company, and network extensively via telephone calls with sources and candidates.

Knowledge management is a critical aspect of this role, requiring Senior Associates to attend client pitches, contribute when necessary, and write detailed proposal documents and job specifications. They must also research product areas, keep abreast of new developments, and archive data efficiently. Furthermore, they are expected to develop a group of reliable sources and suggest good speculative candidate ideas to consultants.

Data management involves ensuring that all information gathered is entered onto the database, following minimum requirements, and accurately skill-coded. Senior Associates must also manage candidate interview processes, stay in continuous contact with shortlisted candidates, and be responsible for the desk when consultants are traveling.

This role requires a calm, unflappable temperament, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
