Automation Tester Job

  • Expertise in automation testing and development is required for this role, including hands-on knowledge of selecting appropriate tools and developing frameworks using the latest techniques.
  • Able to develop automation testing framework for SAP and non-SAP applications using Micro Focus UFT. Proficient in risk-driven techniques to develop, maintain, and execute automated test suites for various modules.
  • Perform static analysis, testing, and dry run of source code using complexity metrics. Experienced in understanding manual test cases or functionality and converting it into automation test by embedding appropriate validations and checkpoints.
  • Develop and execute automation test cases/scripts for SAP and non-SAP applications using Micro Focus UFT. Conduct peer review of automation code and artifacts created by the team.
  • Assist in implementing and enhancing automation framework. Effectively report progress in automation test design and execution.
  • Communicate testing activities and findings in verbal and written formats. Integrate test suites into test management system and custom test harnesses.
  • Contribute effectively in planning and estimation phases with good knowledge of entire testing methodology, automation tool, scripting language, and debugging skills.
  • Advance knowledge in functional automation and integration of automation tools with test management tools is desired. SAP banking knowledge will be an added advantage.

Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience in developing automation framework and test scripts for SAP application.
  • Good knowledge of entire testing methodology.
  • Knowledge of automation tool being used (Micro Focus UFT).
  • Knowledge of language used for scripting in Micro Focus UFT (iVBScript and .NET).
  • Possesses de-bugging skills.
  • Knowledge of integrating automation tools with test management tools.
  • Advance knowledge in functional automation.
  • SAP banking knowledge will be an added advantage.
