Technical Support Engineer

We are seeking a skilled technical professional to provide support for software technical issues and collaborate with our Engineering department to debug and resolve problems.

  • Provide support to internal and external users, including customer service teams, clients, and partners.
  • Communicate and coordinate feedback and inputs to the development team based in India.
  • Assist the QA lead with quality assurance activities.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues with minimal support from the development team.
  • Engage with internal and external customers to quickly identify the root of their problems.
  • Propose workarounds to customers when a fix is not immediately available.
  • Provide timely and accurate customer feedback.
  • Follow up with clients to ensure issues are resolved.
  • Support the rollout of new applications.
  • Develop procedural documentation for support.
  • Manage multiple cases simultaneously.
  • Evaluate and test new releases.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology.
  • Availability to work during US hours (9 am to 6 pm central time).
  • Experience with tech support for web-based business applications and mobile interfaces.
  • Proficiency in Linux, Java, JavaScript, MySQL, AWS, browser-based debugging, JSON format, REST APIs, database queries, and logs.
  • Experience with remote desktop applications and help desk software.
  • Familiarity with ticket management tools like Clickup, Jira, Trello, and texting/communication-based applications.
  • Certifications in Linux, Java, web development, and AWS are desirable but not required.
  • Ability to use AI tools for everyday tasks.
  • A development mindset to scale into a developer with minimal training.
  • Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
