About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned data science professional to lead our team of experts in delivering cutting-edge machine learning solutions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in developing and deploying predictive models that drive business outcomes.

The role requires expertise in traditional and modern machine learning techniques, including regression, classification, ensemble methods, deep learning, and reinforcement learning. A strong background in statistical modeling and experience working in e-commerce or related environments is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of data scientists to develop and deploy complex models that address business problems.
  • Apply expertise in machine learning and statistical modeling to enhance search, browse, autocomplete, and recommendations experiences.
  • Build, deploy, and maintain predictive models for search relevance, query understanding, ranking, personalization, product sale forecasting, and product recommendation systems.
  • Manage multiple projects independently with high autonomy and accountability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience in machine learning and statistical modeling in e-commerce or related environments.
  • Expertise in traditional and modern machine learning techniques (Regression, Classification, Ensemble Methods, Deep Learning, Reinforcement Learning).
  • Effective communication and presentation of complex quantitative analyses.
  • Prior experience working in the eCommerce sector is a plus.
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in data science, computer science, statistics, or a related field from a reputable institution.
