About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Software Development Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will have experience in software quality assurance methodologies, tools, and processes.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Create comprehensive test plans and cases to ensure software meets requirements.
  2. Develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools.
  3. Identify, document, and track bugs throughout the development cycle.
  4. Build functional testing tools and improve existing automation platforms.
  5. Estimate, prioritize, and plan testing activities.
  6. Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
  7. Monitor debugging process results.
  8. Investigate non-conforming software issues and train users on implementation solutions.
  9. Track quality assurance metrics such as defect densities and open defect counts.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Experience developing test plans, test cases, assessing risk, and filing defects.
  • Excellent knowledge of software testing methodologies and practices.
  • Ability to triage problems, prioritize, and propose resolutions.
  • Experience testing mobile applications (Android, iOS).
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, DOM, SVN/Git, Maven, SBT, and Jenkins.
  • REST API testing and automation experience with performance testing (JMeter, Gatling).
  • Software scripting skills (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Perl).
  • Proven work experience in Test Automation and Automation Testing.
  • Knowledge of writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Hands-on experience with Selenium and Robot Framework.
  • Knowledge of Continuous Testing, DevOps, and Test Management.
