Senior Data Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our team.

Job Description:

  • Develop and construct data acquisition pipelines for large volumes of structured and unstructured data. This includes batch and real-time processing, utilizing tools like Python, Data Flow, DataStream, CDC, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, Pub Sub, BigQuery, and Cloud Storage.

  • Build large and complex datasets based on business requirements, leveraging your expertise in data engineering to drive informed decision-making.

  • Design and implement big data pipeline architecture, ensuring scalability, reliability, and efficiency.

  • Identify opportunities for data acquisition via collaboration with stakeholders and business clients, translating business needs into technical requirements.

  • Use logs and alerts to effectively monitor pipelines, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime.

  • Leverage SAP SLT to replicate SAP tables to Google Cloud using SLT, and develop JSON messaging structures for integrating with various applications.

  • Apply DevOps and CI/CD practices (GitHub, Terraform) to ensure the reliability and scalability of data pipelines, partitioning and clustering content in Big Query, and securing data with IAM roles and Policy Tags.

  • Recommend ways to improve data quality, reliability, and efficiency, designing and building ingestion pipelines using Rest API.

Requirements:

  • Requires 4+ years of experience in a GCP data engineering role (offshore).

  • At least 1 year of hands-on experience in GCP tools (Python, SQL, Data Flow, DataStream, CDC, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, Pub Sub, BigQuery, Cloud Storage).
