IT Consultant

We are seeking a Performance Test Engineer to fill a mid-senior level position in the IT Services and Consulting industry. This is a contract employment type with business development and consulting job functions.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing high-quality performance test scripts and ensuring that our applications meet the required standards.

• Conduct meetings with business or project teams to identify project scope.
• Gain a thorough understanding of the business and its infrastructure.
• Communicate regularly with business/development team managers.
• Prepare non-functional requirement documents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Experience working with onsite/offshore models.
• Able to work on performance testing tools like Neo Load & LoadRunner.
• Assess test readiness – environment, test data, and test scripts.
• Hands-on experience using Fiddler, Chrome Developer tools, and converting them to LoadRunner or Neo Load scripts.
• Design workload models.
• Performance test execution.
• Test monitoring (AppDynamics, Thousand Eyes, Splunk).
• Analyze performance test results.
• Prepare performance test reports.
• Presentation of reports to development/business teams and secure approvals.
