Job Opportunity: Database Administrator

We are seeking an experienced professional to design, implement and manage databases for our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deploy database objects, including functions, scripts, stored procedures and triggers.
  • Design, test and maintain high availability and disaster-recovery-friendly database architectures.
  • Optimize, test and verify backup and restoration processes to ensure data integrity.
  • Manage locking, process blocking and performance tuning of databases to improve efficiency.
  • Create complex relational database reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).

Requirements:

  • Advanced understanding of relational database architecture, specifically Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL).
  • Knowledge of SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), SSRS and supporting tooling.
  • Proficiency in T-SQL, stored procedures and day-to-day database functions.
  • Experience with Always On High Availability Groups is a plus.
