**Technical Lead for Aerospace Documentation**

Thales is seeking a Senior Technical Lead to head the local Technical Publications activity. The role involves building and leading a team to deliver high-quality technical documentation on aerospace products and systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

In this position, you will work closely with the Aviation Global Services (AGS) TechPubs organization to perform ATA-compliant technical publications. You will be responsible for managing workflow, reporting progress, analyzing potential subcontracting activities, and applying engineering authoring rules.

You will also be the focal point for all issues regarding TechPubs tools used in the ECC team. Your tasks will include gathering and analyzing released data and technical information from different sources, developing and releasing technical documents, and supporting multiple technical documentation development concurrently.

This is a challenging role that requires strong leadership skills, experience in the aerospace industry, and expertise in industry standards such as ATA iSPEC 2200, S1000D, and ASD-STE 100. If you have a passion for technical writing and leadership, we encourage you to apply.

Requirements:
  • Strong experience in the aerospace industry, Civil Aviation Rules, Aircraft documentation, producing common industry standard technical data, and structured electronic manuals.
  • Experience in leading a team of Technical Publications writers.
  • Rigorous, organized, autonomous, and proactive approach to work.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills on complex topics.
  • Mastery of systems and TechPubs architecture.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, software, and system level documentation.
  • Expertise in industry standards ATA iSPEC 2200, S1000D, and ASD-STE 100.
