Job Opportunity: Infrastructure Design Professional

We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to provide structural design and engineering inputs for social infrastructure projects.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural engineering, proficiency in software such as STAAD Pro, ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, and AutoCAD, and knowledge of IS codes, IRC standards, and international guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide structural design and engineering inputs for social infrastructure projects.
  • Review and finalize structural designs, drawings, and detailed estimates.
  • Carry out structural analysis and ensure compliance with IS codes, NBC, and applicable international standards.
  • Coordinate with architects, civil engineers, and other specialists to ensure integrated design solutions.
  • Assess foundation design, load calculations, earthquake-resistant design, and durability aspects.
  • Prepare design basis reports, structural BOQs, and cost estimates.
  • Conduct a review of DPR deliverables (draft and final reports) from a structural perspective.
  • Provide technical guidance to project teams and support capacity building.

Requirements:

  • Graduated in Civil Engineering.
  • Post-graduate degree in Structural Engineering.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience.

Preferred Background:

  • Prior experience in DPR preparation for social infrastructure projects.
  • Experience in both government and donor-funded assignments.
  • Familiarity with sustainable and disaster-resilient design practices.
