Lead System Architect

A senior leadership role is available for an experienced professional who will oversee the day-to-day operations of a Technical Support Team.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Pipeline Development: Developing ADF pipelines, Databricks notebooks, and SQL queries as an L3 engineer or developer.
  • Stakeholder Management: Acting as a Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for stakeholders, taking accountability for delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Mentorship and Coaching: Providing guidance, oversight, coaching, and training to technical support staff.
  • SLA Management: Tracking SLAs and reporting on performance as part of Weekly Status Reports (WSRs).
  • Project Delivery: Collaborating with team members, management, and clients to ensure projects are completed to standard.
Requirements:
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience in managing communications during Support mode, Critical Incident management, and Problem management notifications.
  • Technical Expertise: Good hands-on knowledge of Azure Data Factory, Python, Databricks, and Azure Databricks Notebook, as well as monitoring and troubleshooting batch processes.
  • Additional Skills: Secondary knowledge of ETL Tools, SQL, PL SQL, Unix/Linux commands would be an added advantage.
