As a Master Software Architect, you will lead the design and development of complex distributed systems that provide a reliable and scalable foundation for our mission. This role is ideal for experienced technical leaders who want to tackle our most challenging infrastructure projects.

About the Role

This is a hands-on technical position that requires expertise in backend development, system architecture, data modeling, and API design. You will be responsible for architecting and building the foundational services that form the backbone of our platform.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and mentorship through exemplary code, design documents, and thoughtful code reviews.
  • System Design: Design, develop, and operate the foundational backend services that meet rigorous standards for performance and reliability.
  • Problem-Solving: Tackle our most challenging technical issues in distributed computing, large-scale data processing, and overall system architecture.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 10+ years of experience in software engineering with a proven track record of designing and building complex distributed systems.
  • Deep expertise in backend development, including system architecture, data modeling, and API design.
  • A strong bias for action and a pragmatic approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong proficiency in at least one backend language (e.g., Python, Go, Java, C++).
  • Experience with modern cloud and data infrastructure (e.g., Google Cloud, Docker/Kubernetes, Postgres).
