Shopify Web Developer Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Shopify web developer to join our team. As a Shopify web developer, you will be responsible for building and customizing Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Your primary focus will be on ensuring mobile responsiveness, SEO-friendly markup, and fast-loading pages. You will also optimize site speed, image performance, and code structure, debug theme and app issues across different devices and browsers, and implement A/B tests and CRO strategies to enhance user experience and conversions.

You will work closely with designers, marketers, and project managers, providing guidance on Shopify best practices and technical limitations. Your goal will be to help ensure a seamless eCommerce experience from homepage to checkout.

The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript (ES6+), and jQuery. Experience with Shopify theme customization, performance tuning, and responsive design is also essential.

Bonus points will be given to candidates with experience in React.js, Next.js, or Tailwind CSS, as well as familiarity with Shopify Scripts, Flow, and Metafields.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in Shopify development.
  • Strong knowledge of Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript (ES6+), and jQuery.
  • Experience with Shopify theme customization, performance tuning, and responsive design.
  • Solid grasp of CRO principles, SEO best practices, and eCommerce UI/UX.
