Job Title: Accounts Payable Specialist
We are seeking a meticulous Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. As an experienced payment processing professional, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate payments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process payments in a timely manner and ensure accuracy.
- Monitor payment statuses and resolve any errors that may arise.
- Validate payment files before transmission.
- Ensure all types of payments (check, ACH, wires) are made accurately and recorded in the Oracle accounts payable system.
- Review printed checks for accuracy and signatures.
Vendor and Internal Communication:
- Respond to inquiries from vendors and internal customers promptly.
- Follow up on invoices that are under query, on hold, or pending with approvers.
- Investigate aged creditor balances and collect credit balances owing.
Reconciliation and Documentation:
- Assist with bank statement uploads and match payments with bank transactions.
- Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately.
- Prepare monthly accruals and assist in month-end closing.
Qualifications:
- Professional experience in Accounts Payable with a focus on Payment Processing.
- Strong Excel skills (intermediate level or higher).
- Experience working in a multi-currency environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills with the ability to work with colleagues and clients in other countries.
