Electrical engineers play a vital role in ensuring the efficient operation of various systems and processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain shift schedules and oversee daily activities to ensure seamless operations.
  • Implement preventive maintenance plans to minimize downtime and reduce costs.
  • Respond promptly to electrical breakdowns, resolving issues within stipulated timeframes.
  • Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, including PM plans, breakdown data, machine history cards, etc.
  • Monitor power distribution and energy consumption patterns to optimize resource allocation.
  • Ensure the availability of essential utility facilities, such as EOT cranes, DG sets, air compressors, weighing scales, CCTV, etc.
  • Monitor solar system performance.
  • Ensure adherence to statutory compliances, including testing of lifting tools & tackles, calibration of weighing scales.
  • Manage spare parts inventory effectively.
  • Promote improvement projects for machine reliability and efficiency.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with IATF documentation requirements.
  • Understanding of maintenance parameters, including MTTR, MTBF, SCADA systems, and power distribution.
  • Knowledge of 5S, Kaizen, Poka-Yoke principles.
  • Hands-on experience with troubleshooting S7300/400, G120.S120, PLC & drives.
  • Proficiency in equipment control systems, sensors, AC motors, synchronous motors.
  • Familiarity with SAP - PP, MM modules.
  • Operating knowledge of DG sets & electricity lines.
  • Ability to eliminate unsafe conditions and practices.
