This is a high-impact role that requires expertise in testing cutting-edge rail domain technologies.

We are seeking an accomplished Automation Engineer with hands-on experience in Positive Train Control (PTC) and IETMS testing for locomotive onboard systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform system and integration testing of locomotive onboard systems including PTC and IETMS.
  • Develop and maintain Python-based test automation frameworks to drive the efficiency of our automated testing process.
  • Analyze system requirements and create detailed test plans and test cases to ensure comprehensive coverage.
  • Execute manual and automated tests, log defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues promptly.
  • Evaluate and validate end-to-end functionality ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards in rail systems.
  • Collaborate with hardware and software teams to drive innovation and improve overall product quality.
  • Participate in reviews, audits, and documentation of test results to enhance our understanding of the technology.

Requirements:

  • 6–9 years of experience in rail domain testing, specifically PTC (Positive Train Control) and IETMS.
  • Strong hands-on experience in Python test automation to develop scalable test solutions.
  • Experience with embedded systems and real-time testing environments to effectively evaluate complex systems.
  • Familiarity with rail safety standards and protocols to ensure seamless integration and operation.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address complex technical issues.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities to drive cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
