Job Title

Senior Graphic Communication Designer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Graphic Communication Designer to join our team at VersionAbsolute Design Studio in New Delhi, India. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering and/or leading multiple design projects from concept through to execution, while adhering to design briefs, timelines, and budgets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement graphic communication strategies for brand identity and extension, information design, typography, cultural identity and context, and ongoing user experience and user interface (UI/UX) projects.
  • Work with the graphic design team to produce artworks such as infographics, maps, icons, and conduct site analyses to understand environmental and user behavior factors.
  • Design prototypes, both physical and digital, and be willing to explore graphic materials and processes.
  • Manage and organize teams internally and externally to develop design briefs and strategies.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure project delivery on time and within budget.
  • Regularly report to senior management and directors on project status and impact on company resourcing and finances.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or Communication Design.
  • Minimum 6 years of professional experience in visual communication design and strategy with a solid understanding of user-centered design and user experience principles.
  • Excellent design portfolio and good communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team and collaborate/manage a team to ensure quick project turnaround.
  • Willingness to travel to sites and clients.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Communication/UI-UX/Information Design/Urban Planning/Industrial Design along with one's bachelor's degree.
  • Experience in international projects/teams/design companies.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English.

Skill(s) Required: Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, In-Design), User Interface (UI) Development and Wireframing, Adobe Premiere, Figma.

Skill(s) Good to have: Rhino/Grasshopper, CAD, SignAgent.
