Embedded Firmware Testers are responsible for reviewing firmware requirements documents, designing and executing test cases, and analyzing results. This role requires a strong background in testing electronics products with embedded firmware and proficiency in Python programming.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle.

Mandatory Skills:

  • Hands-on experience in automation and manual testing of electronics products with embedded firmware.
  • Strong experience in manual and automated test cases design, execution, and reporting defects.
  • Proficiency in Python programming with Object Oriented concepts.
  • Experience in electronics product testing using simulators, oscilloscope, multi-meter, function generators, etc.
  • Experience in testing of embedded product with communication interface using Modbus / Ethernet / HART / Foundation Fieldbus, etc.

Desirable Skills:

  • Domain knowledge/experience in Instrumentation/Industrial automation product testing
  • Unit Testing experience in C++ using LDRA/ParaSoft
  • Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing
  • Exposure to CI/CD tools such as GitLab/Jenkins
