Job Title: Mechanical Designer - Utility Systems

\

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Designer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering group, you will be responsible for designing and developing utility systems from conceptual phase through detailed design completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design process and utility piping systems in compliance with industry standards and regulations.\
  • Lead piping design activities, including layout, supporting, pipe rack design, and piping specials.\
  • Develop 3D models and drawings, including general arrangement drawings, piping layouts, and spool drawings.\
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure successful project delivery.\
  • Review and resolve clashes in 3D models.\
  • Provide technical guidance to project team members.\
  • Maintain adherence to company QA/QC procedures and safety policies.\
  • Cordinate with other engineering disciplines to achieve project goals.\
  • Communicate effectively with clients and outside personnel.\
  • Perform other duties as assigned.\

Requirements:

  • \
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification.\
  • Minimum 8-12 years of experience using 3D design tools.\
  • Strong knowledge of standard piping engineering techniques and principles.\
  • Competency in 2D and 3D CAD tools, including AutoCAD, Plant 3D, and Revit.\
  • Good understanding of piping codes and standards.\
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.\
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.\
  • Excellent communication and self-checking skills.\
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools.\
