Job Title: Technical Lead - Embedded Software

At eInfochips (An Arrow Company), we are seeking a highly skilled Technical Lead to lead our embedded software development team. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in embedded systems development, with a focus on the automotive industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design, development, and maintenance of embedded software for automotive applications using Classic AUTOSAR standards.
  • Oversee the implementation and integration of AUTOSAR components and middleware on MCUs and MPUs.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of embedded software engineers.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and operation.
  • Ensure compliance with automotive industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Conduct and oversee code reviews, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
  • Participate in system-level design and architecture discussions.
  • Lead hardware-software integration and validation testing processes.
  • Maintain detailed documentation for software design, development, and testing processes.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in embedded systems development, with a focus on the automotive industry.
  • Strong proficiency in C programming language.
  • In-depth knowledge of Classic AUTOSAR standards and architecture.
  • Proven experience with microcontrollers (MCUs) and microprocessors (MPUs).
  • Expertise in embedded middleware and communication protocols (CAN, LIN, FlexRay, etc.).
  • Understanding of real-time operating systems (RTOS) and their application in embedded systems.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide junior engineers.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Outstanding communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with model-based development tools (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink).
  • Knowledge of functional safety standards (ISO 26262).
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience with software development tools and environments (e.g., IAR, Keil, Vector tools).
  • Previous experience in a technical leadership or team lead role.
