API Integration Lead

Description

We are seeking an experienced API Integration Lead to join our team. In this role, you will lead the design and development of secure, scalable API integrations.

You will work closely with our engineering team to connect core systems with third-party platforms and enhance client automation workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop RESTful APIs and external integrations.
  • Translate business needs into technical integration specifications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration.
  • Ensure reliability, scalability, and reusability of integrations.
  • Write clean, tested, and maintainable code.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of software development experience.
  • Hands-on experience with API design and integration.
  • Familiarity with enterprise middleware or system integration tools.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Java SE 8+, including strong OOP, concurrency, Java Streams, and lambda expressions.
  • Spring ecosystem: Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, Spring Security for API design and secure integration.
  • Hibernate/JPA for ORM and database interactions.
