Objective:

This senior communications position is responsible for enhancing the corporate reputation of a leading technology company.

Main Responsibilities
  • Strategic Communications: Advise executive leaders on communication protocols for effective risk mitigation and upholding corporate reputation. Develop and execute strategies to enhance brand perception and position the company as a leader in its industry.
  • Communication Planning: Plan and manage communications around business performance for stakeholders, including stock exchange announcements, board meetings, media relations, and internal communications.
  • Crisis Management: Oversee major milestones, such as transition and transformation programs, executive leadership changes, and keep stakeholders informed on key company updates.
  • Global Communication Strategy: Formulate communication strategy in alignment with global guidance and regional needs for multiple countries, including India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh.
  • Internal Communications: Improve and establish robust internal communication programs to implement change management, foster leadership connect, and enhance employee experience.
  • Spokesperson: Communicate as the designated spokesperson for external stakeholders, such as media, agencies, and industry bodies, to position, protect, and enhance the company's brand.
  • Team Management: Manage and develop competencies, align the corporate communications team to business needs by co-creating and delivering best-in-class communications.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication from a reputable institution.
  • Postgraduate degree in Mass Communication or MBA preferred.

Experience:

  • 15+ years of experience in corporate communications in a technology company or global multinational.
  • Experience managing communications for a listed company advantageous.
  • Experience leading a team of associates and driving through partner agencies (PR + Digital).
  • Experience working in a cross-cultural matrixed organization essential.
