APIGEE Platform Engineer Position

We are seeking an experienced APIGEE Hybrid Runtime Expert to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with:

  • Designing, deploying, and managing APIGEE Hybrid runtime on Kubernetes clusters (GKE, AKS, or on-prem)
  • Automating infrastructure with Terraform and Helm charts

Main Responsibilities:

  1. APIGEE Hybrid Runtime Deployment: Design and deploy APIGEE Hybrid runtime plane on Kubernetes clusters
  2. Infrastructure Management: Perform installation, upgrades, patching, and maintenance of APIGEE Hybrid and APIGEE X environments
  3. Runtime Component Management: Manage APIGEE runtime components within Kubernetes
  4. Automation Scripting: Develop and maintain automation scripts to streamline deployment, monitoring, and operational tasks

Requirements:

  • Strong experience with APIGEE Hybrid platform deployment and runtime management
  • Familiarity with APIGEE X and API management concepts
  • Experience with API proxy development, debugging, and policy implementation
  • Hands-on experience managing Kubernetes clusters (GKE, AKS, or on-prem)
  • Proficient in deploying and managing containerized applications using Helm charts
  • Extensive experience with Terraform for provisioning cloud and Kubernetes resources
  • Experience using the Terraform Helm provider to deploy applications on Kubernetes
  • Strong skills in Bash/Shell scripting and Python for automation and operational tasks
  • Experience developing automation pipelines for deployment and monitoring
