Business Intelligence Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Business Intelligence Engineer to join our team. As a Business Intelligence Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex data systems that provide insights and support business decision-making.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in areas such as data warehousing, ETL processes, and data visualization. You will also need excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and deliver high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop data warehouses and data marts using various tools and technologies.
  • Develop and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to extract data from multiple sources and load it into the data warehouse.
  • Create data visualizations and reports using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or other similar platforms.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop solutions to meet those needs.
  • Perform data quality checks and ensure data accuracy and integrity.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in data warehousing, ETL, and data visualization.
  • Strong knowledge of data modeling, database design, and data architecture.
  • Experience with cloud-based technologies such as AWS or Azure.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
