About the Role

We are looking for a Senior ETL Developer with expertise in Ab Initio to design and develop complex data integration solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Integration Designing: You will design, develop and implement high-quality ETL solutions using Ab Initio, ensuring timely delivery and meeting client requirements.
  • Technical Leadership: As a technical lead, you will guide your team in solving technical problems, provide technical solutions and drive project success.
  • Business Analysis: You will work closely with clients to understand their business needs, translate them into technical specifications and ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Effort Estimation and Task Assignment: You will estimate effort required for tasks, assign them to team members and track progress to achieve project goals.
  • Coding Standards and Quality Delivery: You will maintain coding standards and deliver high-quality results.

Desirable Skills:

  • Teradata Exposure: Experience working with Teradata is highly desirable.
  • ETL Estimation: Ability to estimate effort required for ETL tasks is an added advantage.

Requirements:

  • 3-6 years of experience in Ab Initio development.
  • Strong understanding of Ab Initio Batch ETL, Enterprise Meta Environment and PDL.
  • Experience with continuous flows, parallelism, multiple file systems and XML data handling.
  • Unix, Oracle and Scheduling Tool expertise.
  • Good knowledge of dimensional modeling and DWH architecture in banking domain.
