Job Title: Tax Professional

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Tax Professional to join our team. This is a full-time position that involves working on US tax compliance, preparation, and advisory services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare individual (1040), corporate (1120), and trust income tax returns.
  • Apply US tax treaty provisions to cross-border tax transactions.
  • Assist with sales tax filings and registrations.
  • Support tax planning initiatives for cross-border transactions.
  • Draft and organize working papers for income tax filings.
  • Aid in tax audits with the IRS, including client coordination and document preparation.
  • Work closely with senior staff and partners on tax strategies and planning.
  • Develop strong client relationships and understand their business needs.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 1–2 years' experience in preparing/reviewing 1040 and 1120 tax returns.
  • Public accounting/tax experience preferred.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Experience with tax software (e.g., Prosystems, FX) is an asset.
  • Excellent team collaboration and multitasking ability.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to continuous professional development.
