Content Producer for Audio Media

We are seeking a creative and organized professional with expertise in podcast production or audio storytelling to collaborate on content creation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, produce, and publish high-quality podcast episodes through effective coordination with hosts, guests, writers, and audio teams.
  • Conduct thorough research to identify and select relevant guests/interviewees for podcast series or topics.
  • Manage guest outreach and coordination—communicate, schedule, and prepare them for interviews.
  • Prepare hosts with background information and suggested questions during pre-interviews.
  • Edit and mix audio using tools like Adobe Audition, Pro Tools, or similar software.
  • Compose episode scripts, show notes, and promotional content.
  • Evaluate and ensure that episodes meet the highest editorial and production standards.
  • Collaborate with marketing and digital teams to enhance promotion and audience growth.
  • Optimize content for YouTube, including thumbnails, metadata, and titles.
  • Monitor and analyze performance across platforms (Spotify, YouTube, etc.) using analytics and suggest improvements based on insights.
Requirements:
  • 5-8 years of experience in podcast production or audio storytelling, preferably within a media organization.
  • Strong skills in research, guest coordination, and interview planning.
  • Experience with podcast editing tools (e.g., Adobe Audition, Audacity, Pro Tools).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills—comfortable interacting with guests, hosts, and collaborators at all levels.
  • Strong coordination and project management abilities—able to manage timelines, bookings, and multiple moving parts.
  • Ability to build rapport and represent the brand professionally while ensuring smooth guest experiences.
  • Capacity to handle multiple episodes and deadlines in parallel.
  • Familiarity with podcast distribution platforms (Spotify, Apple Podcasts, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Degree in journalism, media studies, communication, or related field.
  • Experience with remote recording tools like Zencastr, SquadCast, or Riverside.fm.
  • Knowledge of SEO, audience growth tactics, and social media promotion.
  • Bonus: Video production/editing skills.
