Developing effective maintenance strategies for field instrumentation equipment is a key aspect of our organization's asset reliability initiatives.

The role of Instrumentation and Electrical Engineer involves leading the effort to develop, assign, and manage maintenance strategies for field instrumentation equipment. This includes overseeing the equipment strategy assignment, collaborating with team members, and ensuring project success.

Key areas of responsibility include:

  • Performing engineering activities covering all key areas of instrumentation technology including field instruments, control and shutdown valves, analyzer, and control systems.
  • Reviewing and updating equipment maintenance strategy for instrumentation (e.g. Transmitters, control valves, flow meters, analyzers)
  • Collaborating with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to ensure alignment of maintenance strategies with operational priorities.
  • Understanding of asset criticality analysis and asset strategy management.
  • Understanding of Preventive, Predictive, Condition monitoring tasks with respect to assets.
  • Standardizing instrumentation maintenance procedure and test intervals across similar asset classes.
  • Knowledge of hazardous area classification, international instrumentation standards.
  • Skilled in Instrument Maintenance Technics with understanding of the preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of field instrumentation, including control valves, on-off valves, various field instruments

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective maintenance strategies that drive business value and improve asset reliability.

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • 4+ years of experience in instrumentation and electrical engineering
  • Strong understanding of asset criticality analysis and asset strategy management
  • Knowledge of hazardous area classification, international instrumentation standards
  • Skilled in instrument maintenance technics, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting
  • Ability to collaborate with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams
