Senior Design Engineer

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing pressure control equipment that meets the highest standards of performance and reliability. Your extensive knowledge of API 6A product design and certification processes will enable you to create innovative solutions that meet customer requirements.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of mechanical engineering principles and experience in using tools such as Inventor or similar software. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless collaboration and effective communication. Your strong problem-solving skills, excellent project management abilities, and proficiency in engineering analysis tools will contribute to your success in this role.

  • Design and develop high-quality pressure control equipment per API 6A standards
  • Lead the development of detailed models, drawings, and BOMs using Inventor or similar tools
  • Conduct FEA and mechanical calculations to validate designs
  • Maintain compliance with industry regulations and customer-specific requirements
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, sales, and supply chain teams to ensure smooth execution of projects
  • Provide engineering support for prototype testing, failure analysis, and continuous improvement efforts
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (required); Master's preferred
  • 7+ years of experience in mechanical design engineering in the oil & gas industry
  • Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with API 6A product design and certification processes
  • Proficiency in Inventor, Vault, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and engineering analysis tools
  • Familiarity with ASME Section VIII, API 6A, and API Q1 standards
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills
