Assistant Vice President

We are seeking a highly skilled Assistant Vice President to lead our Employee Relations and Statutory Compliance team. This role requires a strong understanding of labor laws, employee relations, and industrial disputes. As an Assistant Vice President, you will be responsible for managing multi-union employee relations, negotiating with unions, and ensuring compliance with all necessary statutes and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage employee relations and industrial disputes within the organization and outside authorities such as conciliation officers, labour courts, tribunals, and high courts.
- Negotiate and settle disputes with unions and associations.
- Develop, implement, and administer policies and programs related to employment, employee relations, wage and salary administration, training, orientation, safety, health, and benefits.
- Ensure compliance with all necessary statutes and regulations by liaising with various government authorities, labour consultants, and advocates for IR and court-related matters.
To succeed in this role, you must have a thorough working knowledge of the regulatory environment, including applicable laws, regulations, and regulatory guidance. You should be a strategic thinker who prioritizes workload and demonstrates the highest level of integrity in all matters.
