We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our team. As a key member of the digital customer solutions team, you will play a crucial role in developing innovative performance and condition-based maintenance solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Develop: data transformation and management systems to meet business needs.
  • Maintain and Improve: existing systems to ensure high performance.
  • Create APIs and Solutions: to enable analytics teams to query time-series and transactional data.
  • Manage Automation: workflow automation data pipelines using tools like Apache Airflow.
  • SUPPORT: the Data Science team in accessing needed data.
  • Identify and Improve: components in the data collection and analysis processes that need adjustments.
  • Scale Developed Solutions: with proper infrastructure, collaborating with frontend and backend developer teams.
Required Background
  • A minimum of 3-4 years of experience in data engineering or software development and an academic background in S.T.E.M.
  • Technical Expertise: advanced Python, SQL, and Bash knowledge, with any other language as an asset.
  • Cloud Experience: working with cloud services, preferably MS Azure.
  • Data Pipeline Building: familiarity with building and automating data pipelines.
  • A plus for experience with Apache Airflow and time series databases (e.g., InfluxDB).
  • Database Knowledge: hands-on experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL).
  • Language Skills: fluent in English (written and spoken).
