Software Deployment Specialist

As a skilled software deployment specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless delivery of applications to customer environments. With over 135 years of experience and a strong presence across 22 countries, our organization provides integrated ICT services to large enterprises and public sectors.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, testing, and releasing software within customer environments. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing effective packaging strategies that cater to diverse application requirements.
  • Executing the application packaging process efficiently, adhering to Service Level Agreement (SLA) limits.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including change management, customers, application owners, and vendors as needed.
  • Managing and supporting customer environments built on Windows client operating systems, Active Directory Group Policy, Microsoft Defender, SoftwareCentral, and the Microsoft Intune product family.

The ideal candidate will possess at least 4 years of experience in preparing applications for deployment on Windows Operating Systems, leveraging setup commands/scripting, repackaging, and customizing setup applications using tooling like InstallShield, RayPack, etc.

Key qualifications include:

  • In-depth knowledge of MSI and MSIX packaging frameworks.
  • Intermediate-level proficiency in PowerShell Scripting and basic-level VB scripting for automating application installations.
  • Familiarity with the Microsoft Intune product family, including Microsoft Configuration Manager, with a focus on application creation/integration and deployment.
