Job Title: Exterior Engineer

Role Overview

This role is responsible for delivering commodities with defined attributes, cost, and timing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish a team collaboration plan and define work priorities.
  • Ensure subsystems meet attribute requirements, durability, thermal, weight, cost, etc.
  • Support vehicle launches and pre-production builds.
  • Effectively communicate with cross-functional teams across international locations.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in automotive product engineering specifically in exterior trims, bumpers, and grills.
  • Demonstrated project management capability through recent deliveries meeting time, cost, quality, and attribute targets.
  • Proven experience in development and/or integration of at least one and preferably more exterior components like bumpers, grilles, etc.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills adapted to suit different audiences.
  • In-depth functional knowledge of bumper systems.
  • CAD literacy: Ability to generate CAD data and master sections in CATIA V5/V6.
  • Qualification: BE/B. Tech in Mechanical/Production/Automotive Engineering.

Develop strong analytical skills and effectively manage projects from conception to completion.
