Visual Conceptualist

The Artistic Visionary is responsible for visualizing creative ideas through sketches, storyboards, and concept designs. They must comprehend marketing initiatives, strategic positioning, and target audience to effectively communicate with the creative team.

• Produce high-quality artwork, including sketches, storyboards, and roughs, within tight deadlines.
• Collaborate with the creative team to develop innovative solutions across various media platforms.
• Manage and delegate responsibilities to junior designers, providing guidance and direction as needed.
• Present completed concepts to team members, ensuring clarity and effective communication.
• Develop artistic concepts, provide work direction to staff, and train employees to improve skills and productivity.

• Meet art department standards by adhering to production, productivity, and quality guidelines.
• Resolve operational problems and identify areas for process improvement.
• Select and secure illustrative material by formulating basic layout design concepts and conducting research.
• Produces layouts for printing by marking-up, pasting-up, and finishing layouts.
• Obtain approval by presenting final layouts, storyboards, and illustrations; and respond to feedback.
• Improve quality results by studying, evaluating, and re-designing processes.

• Excellent verbal and written communication (English) skills
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Good work ethics and calm attitude
• Graduate/Postgraduate degree from a reputable institution (B.Des/M.Des)
• Proven working experience as an Art Director or similar role
• Proficient use of InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, or other visual design software
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Relevant education or training
